WHAT ABOUT CHANGING THE WAY YOUTUBE LOOKS?

hi,
i'm trying to learn how to do a couple things related to video.
a) i can't for the life of me find in the css the place where i could change the default size of the youtube videos i post.
b) i can't for the life of me get any video to imbed without using the video link in the toolbar where i actually create the post. i'd like to be able to use vimeo and, obviously, the toolbar link does not support this.
i've written a few times to support and the Terapad support has been great, but i'm always directed to changing the css code and it's claimed that the vimeo embeding should work. i'll pay whatever. just wanna fix my blog!
