Thanks. I've looked thru the online support pages, but don't see an example of what I'm trying to accomplish. I did see the video of the FLV code generator (with the !Donna example), but that appears to be a html code generator, that a web administrator/developer would have to insert into a web page.
What I would like to accomplish is:
a) a user has a video on their local pc (could be various formats, let's assume it's wmv).
b) they log into our web site, and are able to 'upload' the file to our web site (or FLV Hosting).
c) the file is encoded as part of the upload process into FLV format.
d) any URLs or embed code links are stored in our database to reference the file for playback.
e) the flv video is then made available for playback to anyone on the website.
So, in essence, I'm trying to allow users to post their own videos (a la youtube) w/o having to deal with specifics on html code, and make those videos available to other users of the web site.
Can this be done with flv-hosting? Is there an example somewhere in the online support documentation?
Thanks for your help.
