Traffic Limits & Overlimit notice

Solution QUESTION
------------------------------------------------------
Hi sir /Madam
Well in the first place this is the mail I recieved from the sale department:

Limit has been exceeded on domain 'abidjan.flv7.com' owned by client 'stephane' (Contact name 'abidjan4life'):
Disk space usage: 370.77 M
Disk space limit: 1.22 G
Traffic: 6.76 G
Traffic limit: 2.44 G

So I emailed back the sales to try to understand the situation and what to do next to resolve it.

this is the reply i received

Hi Stephane

You need to follow step number one in the email sent as you still have room on your limits
If you need further help, please use the helpdesk at www.flvhost.com/helpdesk

I really do not understand. What is step 1.
According to my price plan I am entitled to
5 gig Storage
10 GB of Transfer
and I pay $49.95 per month
So what is the meaning of this first email you sent me ?

ANSWER
------------------------------------------------------

Hello
Sorry for the confusion and poor response by sales. The support system understands the server settings better than them so it is always preferred to use the ticket system

When accounts are set up, the limits are set for the whole account
Then a sub domain is set up
The whole account limits are not applied to the sub domain in case a user wants to add a domain name to the account, where the limits would be shared among the 2 domains.

When your limits are reached for the sub domain, you may receive a notice to either adjust the settings within your account, or to upgrade to the next level

Here is an example of the email

What to do next....
1. Login to your Control Panel. (login can be found in your welcome settings file)

Check the "limits" on the URL '' with the notification. They may need increased for the domain listed in the notice.

You have control on your server space, up to the level purchased when you opened the account.
Traffic is spread among ALL your domains, and can be changed by you.

Here is a video to show you how to edit your Traffic / Storage levels within your control panel http://flvhosting.com/plesklimits

OR

2. If your account limits have been exceeded
UPGRADE TO THE NEXT LEVEL HERE http://www.flvhosting.com/index.php?sp=39
Once ordered, your account limits increased within 24 hours

We apologize for the confusion and have increased the limits for your sub domain
abidjan.flv7.com

Please note you check traffic by going to
http://abidjan.flv7.com/webstat

Your usage to date is 9.8 gigs
